Zeus Omega Hall Effect Sensor for Control Module (AZHSCM)
Why Hall Effect
Accurate current data.
Without the shunt headache.

Traditional analog shunts require precise installation, careful calibration, and interrupt the main current path. The Zeus Omega Hall Effect Sensor for the Control Module uses Hall Effect sensing technology to measure alternator current accurately and feed that data directly into Zeus Omega's intelligent regulation and diagnostics — with none of the installation complexity.

The AZHSCM
Direct battery or alternator current sensing at the Control Module.

The AZHSCM plugs directly into the Zeus Omega Control Module and measures battery or alternator current in real time. That data feeds directly into Zeus Omega's intelligent regulation system — improving state-of-charge accuracy and enabling more precise system diagnostics.

Because the sensor does not need to be installed in-line with the main current path, there is no need to interrupt the main conductor, size a shunt to your system, or go through a calibration process at commissioning. Install it, connect it, and you are done.

For the Control Module
The AZHSCM connects to the Control Module and measures battery or alternator current at the CM — giving the system accurate data right at the controller.
For the Control Module
The companion AZHSADM sensor connects to the Alternator Drive Module for current sensing at the alternator. Available separately.
Use Both for Full System Visibility
For complete current monitoring across your Zeus Omega system, use the AZHSCM at the Control Module and the AZHSADM at the Alternator Drive Module together.

Why It Matters
Everything a shunt gives you.
None of what makes shunts painful.

No Shunt to Size

Traditional shunts must be sized to your system's maximum current. Hall Effect sensors work across a wide current range without needing to be matched to your alternator output.

No Calibration

Analog shunts require calibration at commissioning. The AZHSCM connects to the Control Module and is ready to measure — no calibration process required.

No Current Path Interruption

Shunts are installed in-line with the main current path. The AZHSCM does not need to interrupt the main conductor — nothing is in series, nothing is at risk.

Real-Time Alternator Data

Current data from the AZHSCM feeds directly into Zeus Omega's regulation system — improving the accuracy of charging decisions and diagnostics in real time.

Better SOC Monitoring

Accurate current sensing means more accurate state-of-charge monitoring — giving you a truer picture of where your battery bank actually stands.

Enhanced Diagnostics

With current data at the CM, Zeus Omega can surface more detailed system diagnostics through the app — helping identify issues faster.

Also Available
Add the Hall Effect Sensor for the Alternator Drive Module.

The AZHSADM provides the same no-shunt current sensing capability at the Zeus Omega Alternator Drive Module — measuring alternator current directly at the source rather than at the Control Module.

For complete current visibility across your Zeus Omega system, use both sensors together: AZHSCM at the Control Module and AZHSADM at the Alternator Drive Module.

Zeus Omega Accessory
Works with the Zeus Omega Control Module.

The AZHSCM is an optional accessory for the Zeus Omega system. It connects to the Zeus Omega Control Module (AZCM) and requires a Zeus Omega system to be installed and operational.

If you do not yet have a Zeus Omega system, start with the complete Zeus Omega Alternator Control System kit (AZOMEGA) — which includes the Control Module, ADM, AZ CAN Cable, power connection, fuses, and temperature sensor.

Questions
Frequently Asked
What is the Zeus Omega Hall Effect Sensor for the Control Module? The AZHSCM is an optional accessory for the Zeus Omega system that provides no-shunt current sensing at the Control Module. It measures battery or alternator current output in real time and feeds that data directly into Zeus Omega's intelligent regulation and diagnostics — without requiring a traditional analog shunt.
Do I need this sensor to use Zeus Omega? No. The AZHSCM is an optional accessory. Zeus Omega functions without it. The sensor adds no-shunt current sensing at the CM, which improves state-of-charge monitoring accuracy and enables more detailed system diagnostics through the Zeus Omega app.
What is the difference between the AZHSCM and the AZHSADM? The AZHSCM connects to the Control Module and measures battery or alternator current at the CM. The AZHSADM connects to the Alternator Drive Module and measures alternator current at the alternator. They serve different measurement points in the system and can be used independently or together for full system current visibility.
Why use a Hall Effect sensor instead of a shunt? Traditional shunts must be sized to your system's maximum current, installed in-line with the main current path, and calibrated at commissioning. Hall Effect sensors are Hall Effect — nothing is interrupted, no sizing is required, and no calibration is needed. Installation is faster and the measurement is equally accurate.
Does this work with all Zeus Omega Control Modules? The AZHSCM is designed for the Zeus Omega Control Module (AZCM). Contact ARCO Marine to confirm compatibility with your specific Zeus Omega system configuration before purchasing.
What Zeus Omega system do I need to use this sensor? You need a complete Zeus Omega system with a Zeus Omega Control Module (AZCM) installed and operational. If you do not yet have a Zeus Omega system, start with the complete Zeus Omega Alternator Control System kit (AZOMEGA).
Can I use the AZHSCM and AZHSADM together? Yes. Using both sensors together gives you current monitoring at two points in the system — at the Control Module via the AZHSCM, and at the alternator via the AZHSADM. This provides the most complete picture of current flow across your Zeus Omega installation.
Where can I get installation support? Contact the ARCO Marine team directly at sales@arcomarine.com or 1-800-722-2720 for compatibility questions and installation guidance.
