The Drive Component
The intelligence lives at the source.

Traditional alternator regulators pull a multi-wire harness all the way back to a central box — up to 30 feet of wiring, multiple connection points, and more places for things to go wrong. The Zeus Omega ADM eliminates all of that. It mounts directly at the alternator, handles the drive signal locally, and communicates back to the Control Module over a single AZ CAN Cable.

Technical Specifications
Built for the Harshest Part of the Engine Bay.

The ADM is fully epoxy-potted — not just sealed, but encapsulated. That means complete protection against water, vibration, and the sustained heat of an engine bay environment. No exposed circuit boards. No vulnerable connectors at the alternator end.

Pre-terminated pigtail wires connect directly to your alternator's field terminal and excitation wire. Connection points are clearly labeled and rated for the environment they live in.

Why the ADM
What makes it different
from everything else.

IP68 Epoxy Potted

Not just sealed — fully encapsulated. Complete protection against water, vibration, and sustained engine bay heat up to 100°C.

No Harness Required*

Mounts at the alternator. One AZ CAN Cable connects it to the Control Module. No multi-wire harness running back to a central box.

Alternator Agnostic

Works with any externally regulated alternator. P-type or N-type — select it in the app. No hardware modifications required.

Modular by Design*

One Control Module communicates with up to 6 ADMs. Add an alternator, add an ADM, add a cable. The system scales with you.

Emergency Charge Mode

If communication with the Control Module is lost, the ADM continues charging to float voltage independently — keeping your system running.

Pre-Terminated

Ships ready to install. Pigtail wires connect directly to your alternator's field terminal and excitation wire. No additional termination needed.

Zeus Omega Control Module and Alternator Drive Module together
Part of the Zeus Omega System
The ADM works with the Zeus Omega Control Module.

The Alternator Drive Module is the drive component of the Zeus Omega Alternator Control System. It is available individually for system expansion — adding a second or third alternator — or as a replacement component.

If you are building a new Zeus Omega installation from scratch, the complete kit (AZOMEGA) includes the Control Module, ADM, AZ CAN Cable, power connection, fuses, and temperature sensor — everything pre-terminated and ready to install.

Adding a Second Alternator?
Order one additional ADM per alternator. Each additional ADM (2nd through 6th) includes a CAN cable and a network T — no external terminators or power tap needed. Your existing Control Module communicates with up to 6 ADMs over the AZ CAN network.
Replacing an Existing ADM?
The modular design means individual components are available separately. No need to replace the full system.
New to Zeus Omega?

Optional Accessory
Add Hall Effect Current Sensing at the ADM.

The Zeus Omega Hall Effect Sensor for the ADM (AZHSADM) provides direct alternator current sensing at the drive module — accurate, real-time current data feeding directly into Zeus Omega's intelligent regulation and diagnostics.

Non-contact sensing means no shunt installation, no calibration complexity, and faster commissioning. Accurate state-of-charge monitoring and enhanced system diagnostics come standard.

Questions
Frequently Asked
What is the Zeus Omega Alternator Drive Module? The Zeus Omega ADM (AZADM) is the drive component of the Zeus Omega Alternator Control System. It mounts directly at the alternator, handles the drive signal locally, and connects back to the Zeus Omega Control Module via a single AZ CAN Cable. It is available individually for system expansion or as a replacement part.
Do I need the full Zeus Omega kit or just the ADM? If you are adding a second or third alternator to an existing Zeus Omega installation, you just need an additional ADM — one per alternator. If you are starting a new installation, the complete Zeus Omega Alternator Control System kit (AZOMEGA) includes everything you need: Control Module, ADM, AZ CAN Cable, power connection, fuses, and temperature sensor.
How many ADMs can one Control Module support? One Zeus Omega Control Module can communicate with up to 6 Alternator Drive Modules over the AZ CAN communication network. Each ADM connects to the Controller via its own AZ CAN Cable. Add an alternator, add an ADM, add a cable.
What does IP68 epoxy potted mean? IP68 is the highest standard waterproof rating, meaning the ADM is rated for complete, continuous submersion. Epoxy potted means the internal electronics are fully encapsulated in epoxy resin — not just covered by a housing. This protects against water, vibration, and the sustained 100°C heat of an engine bay environment.
Will the ADM work with my alternator? The ADM is alternator-agnostic and works with any externally regulated alternator. P-type or N-type alternator support is selectable through the Zeus Omega app after installation. No hardware modifications to the alternator are required. Contact ARCO Marine to confirm compatibility with your specific setup before purchasing.
What cable connects the ADM to the Control Module? The AZ CAN Cable uses standard N2K-style DeviceNet (M12) connectors. The full kit includes a 5M / 16ft cable. Additional ADMs (2nd through 6th) each include their own CAN cable and a network T — no external terminators or power tap needed. If you need more cable length, standard NMEA 2000 cables can be used to extend in 16ft increments. An extension cable is available separately as part number WH2105.
What happens if the Control Module loses communication with the ADM? The ADM includes an Emergency Charge Mode. If communication with the Control Module is lost, the ADM continues to charge to float voltage independently — keeping your batteries charged and your system operational until communication is restored.
Where can I get installation support? Contact the ARCO Marine team directly at sales@arcomarine.com or 1-800-722-2720 for compatibility questions and installation guidance. Professional installation is recommended for high-output alternator systems.
