ARCO Marine Introduces
Zeus Omega™: The Next Evolution
of Alternator Control.
Built from years of real-world installer feedback, OEM collaboration, and engineering development. Zeus Omega reimagines how alternator systems are installed, controlled, and expanded.
ARCO Marine today announced the availability of the Zeus Omega™ Alternator Control System — a new charging platform that reimagines how alternator systems are installed, controlled, and expanded. Building upon the success of the award-winning Zeus Bluetooth Alternator Regulator, Zeus Omega represents years of customer feedback, installer input, OEM collaboration, and engineering development.
One Cable. Zero Harness Complexity.
The most noticeable innovation of the Zeus Omega Alternator Control System is what it eliminates. Traditional alternator regulators often require multi-wire harnesses routed throughout a vessel or vehicle. Zeus Omega eliminates that complexity through a patent-pending architecture that places the Zeus Omega Alternator Drive Module (ADM) directly at the alternator and the Zeus Omega Control Module near the battery.
Instead of routing a harness, users simply connect a single communication cable between the Control Module and the ADM. One cable. That is it. Zeus Omega also introduces support for Hall Effect Sensors to measure current without the need for time-consuming analog shunt installation. The result is faster installation, cleaner layouts, fewer connections, and dramatically simplified troubleshooting.
"We didn't set out to build another regulator. We set out to solve the frustrations installers and end users have lived with for years. Every design decision behind Zeus Omega came from listening to our customers and asking how we could make alternator control simpler, smarter, and more expandable."

A Patent-Pending Architecture Designed to Grow
At its core, Zeus Omega uses a patent-pending distributed control system that enables one controller to communicate with one or more ADMs over a communication network. This modular architecture fundamentally changes how charging systems can be designed and expanded.
Rather than purchasing and configuring additional regulators as power requirements increase, users can simply add Alternator Drive Modules and communication cables while maintaining centralized control through a single Zeus Omega controller. The system grows alongside the vessel, RV, emergency vehicle, work truck, or off-grid platform.
Innovation Beyond Installation
The Zeus Omega platform introduces multiple patent-pending technologies developed to improve both reliability and user experience.
- Auto Engine Run Detect — no ignition wire required
- Emergency Charging Mode if communication is interrupted
- Alternator Rotor Protection for long-term durability
- Native voltage sensing at the source
- Advanced CAN-based communication
- Integrated system monitoring and diagnostics
Auto Engine Run Detect automatically identifies when an engine is operating and begins charging without requiring ignition-run wiring. It also improves safety if a belt fails: Zeus Omega detects when the alternator stops turning and shuts off charging automatically. Emergency Charging Mode provides backup charging capability should communication between modules be interrupted, helping ensure critical electrical systems stay operational.
Built for Modern Electrical Systems
Zeus Omega supports 12V, 24V, 36V, and 48V charging systems and integrates with many of today's leading electrical platforms, including Victron DVCC, NMEA 2000, RV-C, CZone, and smart battery management systems.
The platform includes native Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity through AZ Cloud, allowing users to configure and update systems via the ARCO Zeus app while monitoring and diagnosing charging performance remotely. Zeus Omega is the only alternator control system in its class with native WiFi connectivity.
"This isn't simply the next version of a regulator. It's the foundation for where alternator control is going. Zeus Omega gives us a platform that can continue to evolve alongside the power demands of modern boats, RVs, commercial vehicles, and off-grid systems."
